For All the Things I’ve Lost, I Hope I Don’t Lose Myself in the End.
It’s easy to get lost in the stream of our minds. With the thought of just a flicker of fire, our souls can travel through times and seasons. Do you realize, that daydreaming is just an act of short gate away for tired people? And to think about happiness before we sleep is an act of hope that maybe, at least, when we’re sleeping, we can get the peace we always want?
You feel like you have two sides of you. One is the you when you’re happy, and the other one is the you when you’re crumbling? But the question is, who are you most of the times? You’re not the kind of person who envy the people with greener grass. You’re not the kind of person who ask for help either. So, who are you?
You think you have lived long enough to know the core of grief, heartbreaks, betrayal, all these negative things. But really, you may haven’t lived long enough to know what the real happiness is. So, why don’t you give yourself a chance to know it? Little do you know that the traffic in your head, is just a trap. And they trapped you many times. Big win — for them.
Do you know that the eyes cannot lie? You may put a smile on your face and hoping they would never find out. But you should know that an empath will see everything, and you will be found. It’s not that you should seek for them, it’s just, you don’t have to hide — you don’t have to lie — you don’t have to pretend.
Not to be rude, but have you lost everything? No, I don’t think so. Nah, you haven’t lost everything. And you should never. For all the things you have lost, I hope you don’t lose yourself in the stream of your own mind. And I hope you are patient enough to be in the traffic in your head.
Thank you for reading the talking I have with myself. XO
